Lars Rutten combines historical research with many years of experience in the international coin trade. A historian and numismatist, he serves as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Numismatist of Leu Numismatik AG, where he is responsible for the scholarly cataloging of the printed auction catalogues and numerous web auctions of one of the world's leading numismatic auction houses. As Academic Director of the Leu Judaica Department, he also leads its scholarly work and helps shape its intellectual direction.
